What’s in a name? Fauve was born and raised surrounded by art and artists. The colorful and wild paintings she saw as a child motivated her to pick up a camera. Bold and beautiful, or soft and sensual, the possibilities are endless. Working with both digital and analog equipment, she favors the latter because of the element of surprise that analog photography brings. 

Whether her work is brightly colored or black and white, Fauve’s images absorb you into new worlds, like a warm and lucid midsummer night’s dream. Fauve mainly works in fashion, but likes to explore the territories of documentary- and portrait photography as well.
